Q: What about warranties?
A: Warranties differ greatly in the wood flooring industry. As
a rule of thumb, most unfinished strip flooring comes with no manufacturer
warranties other than meeting general manufacturing standards. Most pre-finished
and engineered flooring, however, comes with quite extensive warranties,
provided that installation instructions are followed properly. No manufacturer
