	Flush, No frame As its name implies, the same grill as the framed model above, Without a frame, this specific unit satisfies two specific needs: 1) permits retrofitting in existing 3/4" floors by routing out an area of the wood grill and installing the metal register on the subfloor; 2) provides a less massive appearance than the framed model, and may be slimmed even further by ripping up 1/2" off each grill rail at the job site. 	Insert Model Designed for use in any thickness flooring of any material. Same size as the metal register it replaces, and overlaps the opening with a 1/4" thick, 3/4" wide self-rimming lip. 	Base Vent Designed to cover duct openings near the base board - replaces the metal register. The angled face of the base vent covers the entire opening leaving only detailed craftsmanship to be admired. Use the overall dimensions to determine the size you need to cover opening. 	Toe Kick Kit Designed to conceal a standard adjustable metal register installed in the toe space of cabinet or vanity. Each kit includes one grill, two pre-drilled mounting blocks with attachment screws, and two pairs of adhesive-backed magnetic mountings. The 1/2" thick mounting blocks are installed prior to fitting the base shoe. The grill is easily removable for access to the metal register. If necessary, the grill height may be reduced by trimming up to 3/8" off each of the top and bottom rails. Available in Original or Trimline styles. ROUND VENTS
Flush Model
These round style vents are great for adding a decorative and different feel to your vent system. All round vents come in an Insert or a Flush with Frame style. Overall dimensions of all the round vents is 6-3/4" Square for Flush with frame. In an Insert style, the Donut is 5" in diameter, the Grid style is 5-1/2" and the Louvered style is 5-1/2" Please call for pricing as these are custom items and need to be discussed with a sales representitive. COLD AIR RETURNS
Flush Model
For cold air return installation in 3/4" floors, use this traditional egg-crate style with 3/8" wide webs. The open area of the flush model is the size of the opening, to which 1" wide ends and rails are added and fully doweled to each of the web members. Frames are cut from 1 1/4" wide stock, doweled at each corner. The frame is glued and blind-nailed to the subfloor and the flooring fitted into it. When flushing is complete, the grill is placed in the frame.

COLD AIR RETURNS-Insert Model
For applications in floors of any thickness, walls or ceilings, when maximum air flow is desired. The insert model has a self-rimming, eased lip 1/4" thick and 3/4" wide. Fluted dowels secure each web to the 1 1/4" wide side rails and end pieces. Specify the exact opening size when ordering.

All grills listed here are available in stock in Red Oak, White Oak, and Hard Maple. We have access to over 40 other species so we can easily match your wood floor. Grills are shipped sanded and clean-ready for on-site finishing.
