For
floors Porous Stone and Tile Surfaces - After deacidification (follow manufacturer's instructions), leave tile untreated for a minimum of four weeks. Treat one tile as a test; if white dots or streaks appear, repeat deacidification. Saturate with MELDOS. Careful removal of unabsorbed oil approximately 20 minutes after application is important. In dry climates, finish with BILO Floor wax. Preparation for Renovation of Old Coatings - Pore-clogging coatings (oil-based paint, lacquers, varnishes, wax coats) must be sanded or stripped to completely remove residue. Surface must be dry, solid, absorbent, neutral, clean and free of dust. Porous old coatings must be sanded if needed, clean, checked for absorbency and smoothness, and treated accordingly.
