Application Method - Apply very thinly with brush, spray, cloth, dip, ball or machine application at room temperatures above 54F.

Wood Preparation - Wood must be dry, solid, absorbent, finely sanded (floors 150-grain, furniture 240-grain), clean and free of resin and dust. For large-pored woods (oak, ash, chestnut, elm, mahogany, or teak), brush out pore grooves carefully. Test coat recommended on wood containing tannic acids or dyes. Glue and other adhesives must be absolutely dry before application.

Wood Application - Apply very thinly. Depending upon requirements and abosorbency; one to four coats with a drying time of 12 to 24 hours between each coat. Sand between coats if necessary. Approximately 20 or 30 minutes after applying each coat, remove unabsorbed oil with a lint-free cloth to prevent an uneven gloss finish, sticky spots and excess surface moisture. These products may be used once surface has dried: BILO Floor Wax, BEKOS Furniture Paste Wax, GLEIVO Beeswax and BIVOS Oil Wax. In splash-prone and moist areas like bathrooms and kitchen counter tops, use ARDVOS only, without any wax finish.
